Below are horses I’ve completed a nutrition analysis and redesigned a new balanced diet plan.

Nelly is a senior horse who lacked nutrition in her diet. She was underweight, had a poor topline, Her coat was spotchy, sparse, course, and dull (bottom picture). I calculated the perfect amount of vitamins, minerals, protein, fat, and carbohydrates for her and by the following winter she had a full bright, shiny, rich in colored coat. Her mane and tail grew longer as well. Her topline also filled in nicely (Top picture). She is now meeting all her nutritional requirement! See additional pictures of Nelly's journey to the right. I LOVE all that shine! She looks GORGEOUS compared to the first time I saw her!

Halfway there! Rebel was lacking a topline and had a hay belly, which is due to nutritional deficiency (bottom image). I was able to balance his diet by finding what vitamins he was lacking (top image). We implemented the new diet plan and was able to fill in his topline, and provide him with the nutrition he needed to improve his hay belly!

This little mare needed to be show ready by mid-summer (bottom picture - before). Not only is her body condition score OUTSTANDING but WOW that shine!!! (top picture - after).

The owner of this little filly was concerned that she wasn't getting enough nutrients. She was %100 correct! I'm so glad she reached out to me for a nutrition analysis! She was severely lacking nutrition. She will now be on her way to a much better diet plan that will meet all her nutritional needs. The graph is an example of what I make for my clients. One with the current diet and the other showing how the new diet plan meets your horse's nutritional requirements.

I was asked to help momma with a new diet plan, which I did BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY we discovered that the foal's grain had an inverted phosphorous to calcium ratio! This can cause hyperparathyroidism also known as "Big head disease", which over time slowly causes bone weakness and swelling. We fixed his diet right away and now he is growing stronger everyday! I'm so glad she contacted me! The first 2 years are the most important in nutritional needs and sets a horse up for a long healthy life!
